Nitric Acid

Nitric Acid may be used as an oxidant in combination with Hydrofluoric Acid for Silicon or Polysilicon Etchants, with Phosphoric Acid for Metal Etchants and with Sulphuric Acid for premetal strips. Nitric Acid may also be used in cleaning applications to remove inorganic residues.
