21% Cobalt Hydroxy Ten-Cem® "Feeder" Drier
Used in certain paint formulations, 21% Cobalt Hydroxy Ten-Cem® overcomes drier adsorption during prolonged storage. Such pigments as carbon blacks, toluidine reds and iron blues are exceptionally prone to Cobalt drier adsorption. 21% Cobalt Hydroxy Ten-Cem® has varying degrees of Cobalt solubility, designed to supply both initial and prolonged activity through its feeding action. It is highly resistant to hydrolysis and drier adsorption.
Hex-Cem® LFD Lead-Free "Feeder" Drier
Hex-Cem® LFD is a lead-free blend designed as a replacement for lead feeder driers. It is a complex containing Zirconium, rare earth and alkaline earth compounds possessing controlled rates of solubility. Like our other feeder drier (21% Cobalt Hydroxy Ten-Cem®), Hex-Cem® LFD remains active over extended time periods, slowly releasing controlled amounts of drier to compensate for the driers that may have been adsorbed during storage.
Cem-All LFD® Lead-Free "Feeder" Drier
Cem-All LFD® is a liquid feeder drier used to minimize loss-of-dry in coatings during storage. This lead-free product contains soluble Cobalt, Calcium, Zirconium and Zinc, and is especially effective with pigments such as carbon black that tend to adsorb active drier metals during extended periods of storage.
