OM Group Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Product Stewardship Policy:
We at OMG commit to all of our stakeholders, including our associates, shareholders, customers, business partners, suppliers, regulatory authorities and our local communities, that we will conduct all aspects of our business with respect and care for people and the environment.
This Policy includes the following key principles:
- A safe, healthy and secure workplace for all associates.
- Excellence in Product Stewardship by implementing and supporting the responsible handling and use of our products at all stages of their lifecycle.
- Adherence to the principles of sustainability and environmental stewardship through the conservation of energy and natural resources, risk reduction, pollution prevention, material management and recycling.
- Compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and, where appropriate, the Guiding Principles of Responsible Care.
- Continuous improvement in environmental, health, safety, product stewardship and security performance supported and advanced by independently certifying and maintaining management systems consistent with Responsible Care, ISO or other appropriate international standards at all OMG facilities.
- Communications and open dialogue with our internal and external stakeholders respecting our operations and products.
- Ethical behavior and conformance with this Policy are the responsibilities of every OMG associate. Deviations from this Policy must be communicated to management.
Participation in Responsible Care®
We will meet our commitment through continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental, and product stewardship performance, and adherence to the Guiding Principles of the Responsible Care® initiative. OMG is a signatory to the international chemical industry Responsible Care® Global Charter
