Global Responsible Care® Initiative
Since 1988, members of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) have significantly improved their environmental, health, safety and security performance through the Responsible Care® initiative. Responsible Care is the largest and most comprehensive environmental, health and safety initiative in American industry. OM Group is committed to the principles of the Responsible Care initiative to continuously improve performance, communication, and accountability. This commitment is reflected in the OM Group Environment, Health, Safety and Product Stewardship Policy.

Responsible Care is also a global initiative that is practiced currently in 53 countries, which share a common commitment to advancing the safe and secure management of chemical products and processes. OM Group is a signatory to this international chemical industry Responsible Care Global Charter. We will meet our commitment through continuous improvement in safety, health, environmental, and product stewardship performance, using the principles and management practices of the Responsible Care initiative on a global basis under the processes established according to each participating country’s laws and the national industry association.
