Combined Cleaner/Etch
OMG's combined cleaner/etch was developed to help our customers reduce operational cost, improve on their manufacturing process efficiencies, and reduce volumes of waste water and spent chemistry to waste treatment. These objectives were achieved by combining the separate cleaning and etching requirements into one product.
9069 is a more aggressive version of 9068R. It allows our customers to deal with possible contamination from the processes prior to plating by providing a more aggressive etching step.
Zincate
Due to increased production volumes and use of Al-substrates from different vendors, conventional zincate solutions became too mild and marginal with respect to possible aluminum damage and/or contamination. As a result, OMG has developed a more robust zincating process in the 9067M.
9067S is a further development on 9067M allowing OMG to provide a choice of zincates to match the incoming quality of the aluminium substrate, and the plating specifications of the finished plated memory disk.
These products offer a cost reduction by higher throughput and a shorter pre-treatment cycle.
