Additives

OMG has been producing high performance products since the 1940s for lubricant oils and greases as well as hydrocarbon-soluble metal carboxylates for use as fuel oil additives. OMG's proprietary overbased carboxylate technology leads the industry in performance and quality in lubes and greases. OMG also has a line of products for the fuel oil additive industries, with formulations available for a variety of applications.

Chemicals

OMG’s catalysts are produced for use in polymerization, refining, urethane, resin and other specialty applications. They can be produced as solutions in a variety of organic solvents, as solvent-free liquids or as solids in powder or pastille form. Catalyst types include oxidation, esterification, Ziegler-Natta, hydrogenation and various homogeneous catalysts.

Rubber & Adhesion

OMG’s rubber adhesion promoter products improve the bonding of rubber to steel in steel-belted radial tires and steel-reinforced conveyor belts and hoses.The cobalt carboxylate provides a highly rubber-soluble form of cobalt that serves as a chemical adhesive, bonding with sulphur in both the vulcanized rubber and the sulphided brass coating of the steel cord. Improved heat-aged and humid-aged adhesion are two significant benefits to be realized with OMG cobalt rubber adhesion promoters.
